HARMAN SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED

Jane Harman was caught, red handed, committing treason.  She is well-protected and will try to huff her way out of this.  Bush kept her on a very short leash with his secret tapes of her treason as she conspired with AIPAC spies who are going to trial for treason.  HAHAHA.  Aside from that, AIPAC should be disbanded because they are a nest of spies and they are corrupting Congress.  Also, Eugene Robinson, a black commentator at the warmongering Washington Post, bemoans Obama being polite when doing the diplomatic two-step.  Eugene wants Obama to be obnoxious like Bush!  Ack.

CQ Politics | Sources: Wiretap Recorded Rep. Harman Promising to Intervene for AIPAC

Rep. Jane Harman , the California Democrat with a longtime involvement in intelligence issues, was overheard on an NSA wiretap telling a suspected Israeli agent that she would lobby the Justice Department reduce espionage-related charges against two officials of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, the most powerful pro-Israel organization in Washington.

Harman was recorded saying she would “waddle into” the AIPAC case “if you think it’ll make a difference,” according to two former senior national security officials familiar with the NSA transcript.

Waddle in?  Sounds like going into a sewer….heh.  Now, she is claiming, she was set up. But that won’t pass if these words are true.  On the other hand, many in Congress are corrupt.  They will all line up and kiss the ass of AIPAC even if this means voting for things that actively hurt their own constituents.

On the other hand, this news about Harman is all about TREASON.  Lobbyists who work for a FOREIGN POWER want her to intercede in a SPY TRIAL on behalf of US citizens who gave MILITARY SECRETS to foreigners….!!!!

Um, this is called TREASON.  There isn’t the slightest doubt that this is classic treason, the sort people get hung if found guilty, type of treason.

(See related transcript of Jeff Stein online Q&A about his column.)

In exchange for Harman’s help, the sources said, the suspected Israeli agent pledged to help lobby Nancy Pelosi , D-Calif., then-House minority leader, to appoint Harman chair of the Intelligence Committee after the 2006 elections, which the Democrats were heavily favored to win.

Seemingly wary of what she had just agreed to, according to an official who read the NSA transcript, Harman hung up after saying, “This conversation doesn’t exist.”

Any organization representing foreign powers that can pick and choose the head of the spook committee in Congress is damn too powerful and should be outlawed.  No nation on earth should have an open inside door to our Congress or our White House or even our courts.  This is utterly anti-American and against the obvious wishes of our Founding Fathers who worried very much about exactly this.

When the first flood of refugees from Ireland came pouring in during the Great Potato Famine, the government worried that these people would not be fully integrated into our nation’s political fabric and they might try to use our nation for their own ends.  Each flood of immigrants from Europe, Asia and Africa [aside from the obvious slaves brought in to be brutalized and abused] there was great worry about their patriotism.

So America evolved in a fashion whereby one could be proud of being from some ethnic or religious group BUT a strict line was drawn when it came to interfering with America’s system of government or our foreign policies.  Immigrant groups could lobby for our government to support their home countries but only up to a point: none dare cross the line of treason or they would be punished.

This line is quite clear: you can’t steal military secrets and hand them over to any nation at all.  NONE.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS.  Not one, ever, ever, ever!  This is 100%, rock solid ‘Thou Shalt NOT steal state or military secrets and hand them to even our own allies!’  Period.

If one is exposing state crimes like the Pentagon Papers, one cannot send it to a foreign land, one has to hand it to the US media and then go to the courts and fight the issue there and there has to be very, very strong patriotic reasons for exposing state secrets.

On the other hand, Presidents must prevent everything from being state secrets!  All states must have them but they should be kept at an absolute minimum.  Keeping CIA secret torture memos secret is a crime against humanity.  And must be moved to the courts and then people must be punished.  This is whistle blowing, not treason.

Harman was playing with treason.  She was to assist in getting obvious spies and traitors off the hook in exchange for some goodies and more power.  This is utterly wrong and she should resign, now and face charges.  If she is found innocent, fine.  But I suspect, this won’t happen.

AIPAC, on the other hand, by calling her, has BROKEN THE LAW and should be disbanded immediately.  Instead, they are holding a big rally and Congress is jumping all over the place, trying to get to the podium so they can swear fealty to a foreign power that spied on us, stole from us and is now revealed to be the corruptors of Congress?

And we are all pleased that this criminal Democrat was caught in a trap she set since she approves having our government spy on US!  HAHAHA.  Put the bitch behind bars. And I don’t mean, ones that serve drunks.

Major scandal erupts involving Rep. Jane Harman, Alberto Gonzales and AIPAC – Glenn Greenwald – Salon.com

Finally, the CQ story says that Harman’s conversation was recorded as part of “a court-approved NSA tap directed at alleged Israel covert action operations in Washington.”  If those facts are accurate, then it is hard to claim that there was anything improper about the eavesdropping; targeting agents of foreign governments is exactly what FISA permits.  But given the recent report that the Bush administration attempted to eavesdrop on a member of Congress without any FISA court approval, how the eavesdropping occurred should be something that ought to be looked into  — unless, that is, you’re a follower of Barack Obama’s philosophy that This Is a Time for Reflection, Not Retribution, and we Must Look To The Future, Not the Past, in which case it’s just best to let bygones be bygones.

The Jews are going nuts because Obama isn’t coming to heel.  Of course, if they ignore this week’s news, they can be forgiven for not understanding, this is one goose they killed, plucked and roasted, themselves.  By voting in a toxic neo-Nazi regime and then rubbing us in the face by making one of the most evil men in Israel, foreign minister, Obama should always be ‘not at home’ if any Israeli officials come knocking.

Who will represent Israel at May’s AIPAC conference? | Israel | Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is unlikely to make his first Washington trip as premier in time to attend the American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference during the first week of May.

SLIDESHOW: Israel & Region  |  World

Though some reports indicated Netanyahu would be coming then, the date was never confirmed. Israeli government sources now say that he will be going to Washington to meet with US President Barack Obama at the end of his policy review, a process that isn’t due to be concluded until later in May.

Though the conference, which annually gathers thousands of pro-Israel activists and features leading American and Israeli politicians, would have been a fitting time for his inaugural visit, the delays he faced in forming his coalition this spring have set back the transition process and policy planning.

If Netanyahu doesn’t come to the conference, scheduled for May 3-5, he could still address the gathering from Israel via satellite, as former prime minister Ehud Olmert did.

These guys openly talk about how they yank the strings of our Presidents.  They are very proud of this and get hard ons, when they do it.  Now, Obama isn’t letting them do this to him.  So they are boycotting their own spy-riddled, corrupt little tea party!  HAHAHA.

Israeli sources indicated that it was unlikely Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman would attend, though then-foreign minister Tzipi Livni came the year Olmert stayed behind in Israel and spoke via video link….

Since Obama isn’t cooperating, they will keep their odious little jerk home.  Good.

They suggested it might be a matter of politics – with Netanyahu not wanting Lieberman to arrive in the US before he does. But others have also pointed to the sensitivities of welcoming the controversial politician into the AmericanJewish community, suggesting that AIPAC might not want to showcase him as the face of Israel to the new administration and Congress.

Particularly after the Harman news.  They have to figure some way of watering down this news so it is a small tinkle instead of a downpour.  The best way is for everyone to stop talking about it.  Look! A plain-jane woman in Scotland did well in a talent show in  England!!!!  Yes, there is a lot of news out there.

Several figures in the American Jewish community have acknowledged that US supporters of Israel will have a difficult time deciding how to receive Lieberman, who on the one hand holds the position of Israel’s foreign minister and is therefore its chief diplomat, but on the other hand is widely perceived as politically radioactive because of his critical views of Arabs and a Palestinian state….

Might I suggest they line the hall with banners, make a bonfire on stage and then, as Lieberman gooses steps down the aisle, shout, ‘Seig Heil, Heil Lieberman!’  That will look cool on TV.

“Obama is looking forward to Bibi coming in early May,” said former US ambassador toIsrael Martin Indyk of the reports, referring to Netanyahu by his nickname.

He stressed that it was “totally inaccurate” to say that the new prime minister was unwelcome in Washington, and chalked the assertion up to Israeli “spin.”…

There have also been suggestions in the Israeli media that Obama is sending a message by hosting Jordan’s King Abdullah next week before Netanyahu.

The Israelis are playing the old Russian Pravda game: studying photos to see who is next to whom, etc.  Reading gestures, looking at visit schedules, etc is great fun.  I hope they get more and more paranoid.

Of course, our watchdog media will NOT cover this story nor will they track the guys flipping us all the bird as our own Congress meets SECRETLY after the banner and bon fire Nüremberg rally is done.  Will these so-called representatives yell at the Israeli Jews and demand they disband their spy machine?  HAHAHA.  Pigs will sprout wings!

Instead, I am betting, they will conspire with each other.  They will discuss passing laws forbidding us from talking about them.  Anyone demanding that a nest of illegal foreign spies and corruptors be banned will be put in jail for spreading ‘anti-semitism’.

Eugene Robinson – In Trinidad, President Obama Should Have Slapped Back at Rude Leaders – washingtonpost.com

It’s hard to argue with the results thus far from President Obama’s “no drama” approach to campaigning and governing, but I think he should learn to chew a little scenery when the occasion demands. Theatricality is one of the weapons in any leader’s arsenal, and a well-timed glower or growl can have more impact than a sheaf of position papers….

I kindly wrote to Eugene and explained to this utter jerk, we voted for Obama because he was CHANGE. If we wanted screaming, cussing, spitting, whooping, burping, throwing -upping, grabbing, yanking cowboys like the two faux Bushies, we would have installed McCain. But we didn’t.

I, personally, wanted someone who was semi-civilized and who knew how to hold a glass of champagne, eat crumpets and make small talk without spitting crumbs all over the exposed upper shoulders of foreign ladies.

Chávez can be charming. So why not Obama???? But when Obama shook the man’s hand, he should have telegraphed clearly, through posture, expression and language, that he was not amused. What is Obama? Queen Victoria??? Chávez’s gift of the book was meant to affront, not to enlighten, and I would have advised Obama to reciprocate in kind.

What, give Chavez a book? He should have given Chavez the CIA torture memos, bound in flayed human skin. That would be scary. That would be nasty. Yes. Seig Heil! The other moment for presidential theatrics was Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega’s 50-minute speech excoriating, yes, the long and sordid history of U.S. meddling in Latin America. Asked later about Ortega’s peroration, Obama replied curtly that “it was 50 minutes long.”

Ortega was very polite. I could spend 50 minutes simply talking about El Salvador CIA torturers. Hey, we never got to see those memos. Well, talking about the CIA memos would have been a good thing to try. Too bad Washington Post warmongers find all of this boring. Obama was correct not to walk out on the speech. Hey, Eugene! Ask him to bang his shoe on his desk next time. Have Obama yell, ‘We will bury you! After we waterboard you 288 times!’ But as was the case with Chávez’s tendentious present, Ortega’s speech was intended as a slap. You don’t say? When Obama spoke later, he should have prefaced his promising call for an “equal partnership” with other countries in the hemisphere with some strong pushback against those who would rather relive the insults of the past than move forward.

Eugene, Eugene, no one moves forward unless past crimes are paid for, corrected and the guilty, punished.

Granted, the history of U.S. involvement in Latin America is pretty sordid. HAHAHAHAHA…so the victims better shut the hell up? And so, how do we explain those Holocaust museums? And granted, Obama made clear that he intends no abdication of American leadership but rather a new atmosphere of mutual respect. After he snarls and insults everyone and yells, ‘Just get over it, will ya?’ Most of the assembled heads of government — including Presidents Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil and Felipe Calderón of Mexico, leaders of Latin America’s two biggest economies — responded to Obama’s initiative graciously and with an eye toward the future.

So, everyone loved Obama. But NOT sweet little Eugene! No, he wanted a snarly, snappy, snotty President putting all those wimpy, sneaky Hispanics in their place! Which is below our boot that is smashing them all in the face? Chávez, Ortega and a few others, however, made a show of being rude. A flash of presidential anger from Obama would have been in order.

I can only praise Obama for being decent, sane and civilized at an important meeting.  Hu is shaking in his boots.  He always bounced Bush around like a basketball.  Bush would be snotty and insulting and then Hu would brush him off and the whole world would laugh at Bush.  Want Obama to do this, too?  Gads.  The only good thing about Obama is, he is diplomatic.

Obama doesn’t rule out charges over interrogations | Reuters

President Barack Obama left the door open on Tuesday to prosecuting some U.S. officials who laid the legal groundwork for harsh interrogation of terrorism suspects during the Bush administration.

Arrest everyone involved including Harman.

Obama also said he would not necessarily oppose an effort to pursue a “further accounting” or investigation into the Bush-era interrogation program that included waterboarding, sleep deprivation, forced nudity, shoving people into walls and other methods.

The stance marked a shift for the Obama administration, which has emphasized it does not want to dwell on the past with lengthy probes into policies put in place by President George W. Bush after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

Obama went to the KGB branch of the CIA and assured them, he would not stop them from acting like the Gestapo except they had to kind of cool it, not be so very obviously a bastard child of both.  The CIA should be disbanded.  They are there to advise and do research, and even spy like my dad…go to other countries, be friendly, keep open ears, notice things, take notes, talk to people.

Assassinations, torture, kidnapping, theft: these are crimes.  The more the CIA does this the more criminal they are.  Of course, it is OK to spy on others and corrupt foreign officials.  But if caught, the penalty is usually death.  Why is this?

All nations have the RIGHT and even the obligation to defend themselves.  Iran recently arrested an American reporter and put her in prison for spying.  I don’t know what the information was, against her, if any.  In this case, it is easy for us to deal with it: we can talk nice to Iran and stop the belligerent attacks and make deals with Iran.  Treat them honestly and they will be putty in our hands.  But then, the last thing Israel wants is for us to talk to anyone in Iran.  They want war.

And the last thing the US can afford right now, is any wars at all.  Not even in Afghanistan!

U.N. Anti-Racism Meeting Reaches Consensus – NYTimes.com

The United Nations anti-racism conference moved from rancor to rapport on Tuesday, overcoming a conference-opening denunciation of Israel by Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to adopt a consensus resolution that governments applauded as an improved basis for action against racism and xenophobia.

The adoption of the resolution by the committee that coordinates the conference ended months of negotiation that removed contentious clauses referring to Israel and Palestine and trying to make defamation of religion an offense against human rights.

The conference will formally adopt the document here on Friday, but it is no longer open to debate or amendment, diplomats said.

Hooray!  A totally watered-down, utterly useless document.  Just what we need.  Hooray for ethnic cleansing!  Hooray for religious warfare!  Hooray for racism!  Since it can’t be defined at all except, ‘Black African Muslims are EVIL’….then we should just give it up and cease having these dumb conventions.
